Thank you to everyone who has placed orders with The Babycakes Bowtique. I have been flooded with moms, dads, aunts, and grandparents that want the special little girls in their lives to have bows, bow holders, and tutus. I have enjoyed making them and then seeing all the pictures of the little ones dressed up. It makes my heart smile.
However, presently, I am no longer taking orders. You see....the real "Babycakes," my daughter, is growing up so fast and starting to get mobile. I would like to spend more time with her during this fun stage of her life. I never dreamed that I would get so many orders that it would cut into my time with her, but it has. She was my inspiration for all of this and is the most important thing to me.
So, I am taking a break from making bows and tutus for now. I am going back to just being a mom with a wonderfully accessorized babycakes.

- I love bows on little girls. I always have! So, when my daughter was born, I went bow crazy. However, after a few shopping trips, I was in shock over how much these little bows cost. I was paying $7 to $15 for one bow. Well, that just seemed ridiculous!! Needless to say, I set out to figure out a way for my daughter to have bows and for us not to end up in the poor house in the process. That is when I began making my own bows for my daughter to wear. Quickly, I found that not only did my daughter look precious in her new bows but people would stop me and ask me where I got her bows. So, for bowaholics everywhere, I have decided to sell my bows at half the price you will find them in retail shops. Because it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg for an accessory for your baby girl.
